Since starting the blog there has been less to write in the latest news.  All the blogs should be archived if you miss a daily blog or notice.  The archiving should work in two ways either by the calendar under specific days or I have two categories.  I try and always have special information posted under notices.

Daycare is starting to run low on diaper wipes, please send some in for the beginning of May.  Thank you to everyone who has sent in diaper cream we have lots to last us for a while.

It has been a long long time since I have posted my stair policy and newer families may not have access to the old old old newsletters.  So here it is:

  

For safety reasons it is mandatory that all daycare children must meet the following criteria to walk up and down the stairs in daycare:

 

1)    Be tall enough to comfortably reach the handrail to assist in manipulating the stairs;

2)    Be coordinated, have the muscle development and strength to manipulate the stairs independently;

3) And, be at least 2 years of age

 

It is mandatory that parents encourage the children to crawl up and down the daycare stairs until they are able to meet the necessary criteria.
