All about Miss Nicole

My whole life has been mainly been consumed by 3 things:  My husband, my children, and providing childcare.  I started to provide childcare at 12 yrs of age and have never looked back.  I met my husband when I was 13 years old and have been together for many years now.  My daughters are my greatest gifts.

My husband and I have been married for over 17 years.  I always say my husband and I are on a marry-go-round of a marriage.  We have our ups and our downs but we never stop.

My beautiful daughters are 16 and 13 years old.  They are turning into amazing young women.  My 16 year has a kind and caring heart which seems to be leading her into the direction of joining the military.  She wants to be in a career where she will be helping others, either as a military police officer or medic.  My 13 year old is such a gentile and caring teen. Her passion is dancing.  My daughters are very active in sports and it keeps me wearing my chauffeur hat 4 evenings a week and most of the weekend.

Nicole's Tot-Time Daycare was initially opened so that I was able to stay at home with my daughters and them having playmates to fill our day.  Tot-Time Daycare stayed open because I love working from home.

Like many childcare providers who open their home daycares to be at home with their children, I always said I would work outside of the home when both my girls were in school full time.  I prepared myself for that day, I reduced my daycare to before and after school childcare and took my ECE through distance Education.  I graduated ECE in 2 years with honours.  After graduating I closed down daycare and began working outside of the home.  I quickly discovered that working outside of the home was not for me.  Within 1 year, I re-opened daycare.

Retirement for my husband and I is not too far in the future, our goal is to retire within 4 - 7 years.  At that point we will both have been in our chosen careers for over 20 years.
